IInitially based in
the region of the Ardeche in a French provincial village we will be
sightseeing and training.
We then travel to the South
of France to follow the historic path of the Canal Du Midi.
Over
600klms long, this
historical journey along a man made canal takes us through such towns as Carcassonne dating back to the 11th Century
during which time we will stay in picturesque
bed and breakfast
style accomodation in villages along the banks of the canal.
Enjoy the scenic cycling during the day and watch the world go by over a
glass of wine at a local cafe in the evening.
We follow the canal until
we reach the Mediterranean coast
and return back to the Ardeche to unwind.
