Canal Du Midi - Southern France
Initially based in the region of the Ardeche in a French provincial village we will be sightseeing and training.
We then travel to the South of France to follow the historic path of the Canal Du Midi.
Over 600klms long, this historical journey along a man made canal takes us through such towns as Carcassonne dating back to the 11th Century during which time we will stay in picturesque bed and breakfast style accomodation in villages along the banks of the canal.
Enjoy the scenic cycling during the day and watch the world go by over a glass of wine at a local cafe in the evening.
We follow the canal until we reach the Mediterranean coast and return back to the Ardeche to unwind.
Inclusive of transfer ex Lyon, accommodation, 2 meals per day and transfers and mountain bike hire.

Good quality road race bikes are available for hire at a small cost, should you not want to have the trouble and inconvenience of taking your own bike and incur the additional airline excess luggage fee.

Individual group bookings can be taken for this trip, just call me and discuss your idea's Accomodation in the hotels is Twin share, whilst based at Le Cheylard most accomdation is dormintory style however we offer two apartments for couples on a first booked basis.
All participants are responsible for their own travel insurance.
