 Tour De France Trip - 9th July 2010 - 30th July 2010

9th July  - Depart Australia

bullet

10 July - Arrive France, Coach transfer from Lyon to Le Cheylard, our home base for the next 3 weeks

11th July - Settle into village, light training ride

bullet

12th July - Coach Transfer to our hotel at Vif in the Alps, training ride to Alpe D'Huez, back to hotel for dinner.

13th July - Morning training ride, then a coach transfer to watch the 9th stage finish at Saint - Jean - De - Maurienne, return coach to hotel at Vif.

14th July - Morning training ride, then a coach transfer to watch the 10th stage start at Chambery, return coach to our base at Le Cheylard.

15th July -  Ride from our base at Le Cheylard to Bourg-Les-Valence to watch stage 11 finish and ride back to le Cheylard. Big day out.

16th July - Ride from our base at Le Cheylard to watch stage 12 between

Bourg - De - Peage and Mende and ride back to le Cheylard. Big day out.

17th July - Relax and have a local ride.

18th July - Light ride in the village..

19th July - Do you have what it takes ? - Climb the famous TDF stage of Mont Ventoux. - A great day trip, lots of fun or heartache.

20th July - A relaxing ride to the beautiful old market town of Le Mastre.

21st July - Market Day - Buy your fresh cheese's and local delicacies and enjoy with a glass of wine.

22nd July - Relax and have a local ride through the Ardeche.

23rd July - Relax and have a local ride through the Ardeche.

24th July - Relax and have a local ride through the Ardeche.

25th July - Have a relaxing ride in the morning and sit down with a beer to watch on television the final stage finish in Paris.

26th July - Relax and have a local ride through the Ardeche.

27th July - Relax and have a local ride through the Ardeche.

28th July - Relax and have a local ride through the Ardeche.

29th July - Training ride through the Ardeche and pack those bags, during this period you are free to travel around Europe if you wish to make plans.

30th July - End of tour, at this stage you can depart to see more of Europe or return home.

During any of the training days, you can also make your way to Paris or any other city in Europe to explore the wonders that Europe has to offer.

Inclusive of transfers ex Lyon, accomodation, transfers and excursions to the Alpine stages and other stages, hotel accomodation whilst at the Alpine stages and two meals a day. 

AU$ 3,800.00

Bike Hire Available for an extra $ 400 for the duration of the trip. All hire bike are up to date, road bikes of a good standard. 

Canal Du Midi Trip - 13th August 2010 - 26th August 2010 Groups between 4-10

13th August - Coach transfer from Lyon to Le Cheylard, our home base for the next 2 weeks

14th August - Prepare bikes for trip - Training ride on bikes supplied

15th August - Training ride through the Ardeche, join in the Bastille day celebrations in the village in the evening and enjoy with a glass of wine.

16th August - Bus transfer to Toulouse - Check in to Hotel and see Toulouse, dinner in le centre ville.

17th August - Day 1  - Toulouse to Castelaundray - the home of the famous french dish  Cassoulet  - 70 klm stage

18th August - Day 2 - Castelaundray to Carcasonne - 60 klm stage - Medival City - Dinner at the Chateau

19th August - Day 3 - Carcasonne to Homps - famous inland Port for trading in centuries gone by. 60 klm stage

20th August - Day 4 - Homps to Narbonne - 70 klms - Here we will stay and have a rest day on the French Riviera before returning to Le Cheylard.

21st August - Day 5 - French Riviera rest day

22nd August - Breakfast at Narbonne and meet coach transfer and return to Le Cheylard.

23rd August- Training ride through the Ardeche or just relax and take a walk around town or a walking track through the Sud Rhone Alpes region.

24th August - Coach Transfer for a day trip to the cathedral town of Le Put En Velay.

25th August - Market Day - Buy your fresh cheese's and local delicacies and enjoy with a glass of wine, prepare for your departue the following day. 8th

26th August -End of tour, at this stage you can depart to see more of Europe or return home.

** For the Canal du Midi Trip, should you have a small group and wish for a private tour for your small group, dates can be provided for you as a private tour.
